October Players of the Month

Another season is underway in the KJHL with regular season games starting on October 4th. So far, the month of October did not disappoint. Cedrick Puffalt from the OCN Storm is this month's Player of the Month, racking up 10 goals and 7 assists for 17 points in only 8 games played. Way to go Ceddy! Becoming a regular on the Best Defenceman posts is this month's winner Brody McPherson from the Peguis Juniors. Brody boasts an impressive 9 goals and 4 assists for 13 points in only 5 games played! Great job Brody! Backing up OCN's strong start to the season is goaltender Logan Grenier with a 0.934 save percentage, 3 wins, 1 loss and 1 shoot out win. Keep it up! We look forward to seeing what November brings.

A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

As the President of the Keystone Junior Hockey League, ahead of the start of a new season, I would like to acknowledge all of the hard work of the KJHL Executive Board, all of the team Governors, General Managers and Coaches on a job well done these past couple of seasons and the importance of keeping Junior Hockey alive and well in the North for our younger generation. The level of competition each team brings makes for exciting hockey, and any team can beat any team on any given night. We are excited for the start of a new season!
