FRIDAY
The OCN Storm hit the road south to take on the Peguis Juniors, who were also hosting Hometown Hockey in Peguis. While Peguis started strong, the Storm potted five 3rd period goals to skate away with an 8-5 win. OCN would get goals from Bryson Werbicki-Mallet (2), Chavez Constant (2), Derek Kovisto, Blaine Dorion and Dray Garrick (2), and would be backstopped by a solid 31 save performance from Braxton Constant. Peguis would put up five goals from Marcus Crate, Evan Thickfoot, Ethan Daniels and league leading scorer Tyrome Spence (2). Drey Flett would be dealt the loss in net, making 27 saves.
SATURDAY
The OCN Storm were back in Peguis for their second game of Hometown Hockey in Peguis. The Storm were looking for the weekend sweep which would give them a solid handle on second place nearing the end of the regular season. They would do just that, getting six second period goals in an 11-7 win. Goals from Cheechoo Lathlin, Troy Head (who would also add 5 assists), Bryson Werbicki-Mallet, Noah Butler, Blake Lahonen (2), Derek Kovisto and four goals from Dion Fontaine would give them the crucial two points. Braxton Constant would make 23 saves in the winning effort. Peguis would get goals from Michael Spence, and hat tricks from Nathaniel Murdock and Tyrome Spence in the loss. One bright spot however, was that with Tyrome Spence's 3 goals he would set a Juniors record for goal scoring on the year.
The NCN Flames forfeited their game with the Cross Lake Islanders. 1-0 Cross Lake win.
SUNDAY
The NCN Flames forfeited their game with the Cross Lake Islanders. 1-0 Cross Lake win.
