The Keystone Junior Hockey League is pleased to announce the return of the Cross Lake Islanders for the 2015-2016 Season. The number of temas in the league has now grown to ten which continues to show the strength of junior hockey in Manitoba.
When reached for comment Cross Lake governor, Vaughn Blacksmith stated "The Cross Lake Islanders are very excited to be rejoining the KJHL this season. We would like to thank the KJHL and the teams governors for our inclusion to the KJHL. There is a buzz in the community about junior hockey returning to Cross Lake."
The Islanders are preparing for training camp and gearing up for the regular season. Blacksmith quipped "It's only August and hockey is in the air."
