The week of KJHL action began as it typically did, on Tuesday night, as the North Winnipeg Satelites hosted the Lundar Falcons.
Lundar 4 - North Winnipeg 2
Jory Ross led the Falcons with 2 assists. Landen Gray, Craig Weiss, Dennon Sichewski & Taylor Radley all scored single goals. Travis Rigden stopped 31 of the 33 shots he faced to earn the win.
The Satelites got single goals from Nico Lisi & Colin Yarchuk. Wyatt Emes faced 35 shots, stopping 31 of them.
The next action was on Thursday, as the Cross Lake Islanders saw Norway House come to town.
Cross Lake 16 - Norway House 1
The Islanders were led by Tyler Monias with 4 goals and 1 assist and Tyrell Armstrong who scored 5 times and added an assist himself. Kirk Robinson added 4 helpers in the game. Rosaire McKay, Tanner Poker and Keith Monias finished with 3 points. Tie Braun, Damian Ross, Clinton Armstrong and Treymian Trout all ended the game with 2 points. Kris Wood-Ross faced 46 shots, and made 45 saves for the win.
Norway House's lone goal was scored by Harley Muminwatum. Brendan McLeod faced 75 shots in the game, stopping 59 of them for the North Stars.

Peguis 15 - Fisher River 4
The Juniors were led in scoring by Theoren Spence, who recorded 4 goals and added 2 assists. Both Christian Cochrane and Quinton Flett added 2 goals and an assist, and Devon Garson added a goal and 2 assists. Coulson Nepinak & Tyrome Spence-Bair both finished with 2 assists. Dray Flett faced 45 shots, making 41 saves and earning the win.
Fisher River got 2 goals and 2 assits from Johnny Beaulieu. Jarrod Smith turned aside 49 of the 64 shots he faced.
Selkirk 5 - Arborg 2
Drayton Mendrun led the Fishermen with 2 goals. Milan Horanski added 2 helpers in the game. Riley Bannerman faced 31 shots in the game, stopping 29 of them and earning the win for Selkirk.
The Ice Dawgs were led by Clint Torfason with 2 assists. Dylan Ossachuk stopped 36 of the 41 shots he faced in Arborg's goal.

Cross Lake 5 - St. Malo 4
Cross Lake got a goal & 2 assists from Keith Monias. Clinton Armstrong, Treymian Trout & Tyrell Armstrong all recorded 2 points in the game. Tory Monias was strong in net, stopping 56 of the 60 shots thrown at him to earn the upset win.
St. Malo's Riley Hunter finished with a goal and an assists for 2 points. Alec St. Georges faced 57 shots in the game, stopping 52 of them.
OCN 10 - North Winnipeg 8
The Storm got 2 goals and 2 assists from both Devon Tobacco & Aavory Wilkie. Micheal Markus added a goal & 3 assists. Noah Butler, Mitchell Tilley, Rylan Bartley and Tony Apetagon all finished with 2 points. Anthony Fontaine ended with 40 saves in the game to earn the win.
North Winnipeg's Colin Yarchuk ended with a goal & 3 assists. Nathan Jones also scored once, but added assists. Blaze Bezecki, Braden Zamrykut, Howard Grieves and Jesse McIntosh all finished with 2 points in the game. Derick Vinsky faced 53 shots in the Satelites net.
Sunday was the busy day of the weekend, as there were four games on the schedule.
St. Malo 16 - Norway House 5
The Warriors were led by Jared Magne, who scored 7 times and added assists for 9 points. Both Riley Hunter & Elmer Tabler added 1 goal and 3 assists. Brady Allan, Jared Hunter, and Tyrel Bueckert finished with 3 points. Dustin Wiebe & Gordie Reuther each ended the game with 2 points. David Allaire faced 53 shots in the game, and made 48 saves for the win.
Norway House saw Ronald Robertson, Conley Spence & Hunter York all score once and add 1 assist. Brendan McLeod started the game, stopping 29 of the 41 shots he faced. Joel Monias came into the game in relief, and made 24 saves on 28 shots.
Arborg 7 - Lundar 4
Clint Torfason led the Ice Dawgs with a goal and 2 assists and Dylan Furgala added 3 helpers. Ryan Pochailo, Derric Gulay, Spencer Kilbrei and Brett Goertzen all finished with 2 points. Dylan Ossachuk turned aside 31 of the 35 shots he faced for the Ice Dawg win.
Eric Miller led the Falcons in the game with 2 goals and an assist. Landen Gray added a goal and an assist. Travis Rigden faced 64 shots in the game, allowing 6 goals.
Peguis 8 - North Winnipeg 7
The Juniors were led by Theoren Spence, who scored 2 goals and added 2 assists. Tyler Woodhouse also scored 2 goals and dished out 1 helper. Quinton Flett and Coulson Nepinak both finished with 2 points. Luke Penner faced 48 shots in the game, making 41 saves for the Juniors win.
Nico Lisi finished with 2 goals and 2 assists to pace the Satelites. Brandon Mills & Braden Zamrykut both finished with 3 points. Derian Emes ended the game with 2 helpers. OCN 11 - Fisher River 5
OCN was led by Micheal Markus, who dished out 5 helpers in the game, and Aavory Wilkie who scored 3 times and added 2 assists. Devon Tobacco finished with 2 goals and 2 assists. Austin Caza ended the game with a goal and 2 assists. Bryson Werbicki-Mallet, Broady Personius, and Tony Apetagon all finished with 2 points. Ron Fiddler stopped 30 of the 35 shots he faced in the game to earn the win.
The Hawks were led by Brennan Cochrane, who scored 4 of the team's 5 goals, and added an assist. Darryl Thaddeus finished with the other goal & chipped in with 3 assists. Evan Thickfoot ended the game with 3 assists. Elliot Wilson faced 54 shots in the game, stopping 43 of them.
The upcoming week begins Monday, with a rare game, however this is rescheduled from earlier in the season. The OCN Storm play host to the Fisher River Hawks. The next action is Wednesday, as the Cross Lake Islanders host OCN & Selkirk heads to Lundar. Thursday night has Cross Lake heading to Norway House. Friday evening sees OCN head to Peguis, St. Malo play Fisher River and Arborg host the Satelites. Saturday is a lighter day on the schedule, and has two games: OCN heads to Fisher River and Peguis is in Lundar. Sunday afternoon only has one game, with Arborg hosting the St. Malo Warriors.
